Transparent accessibility
Transparent accessibility means the implementation of interventions and / or services designed to meet the needs expressed by customers with a better quality of performance (of facilities, trails and services), with no aesthetic connotations of hospital character and according to the canons of "universal design"[1].

Accessible tourism is often reduced to the existence of an accessible bathroom or a boardwalk that crosses the beach but we must remember that it is much more, that is the decision to devote attention to details, listen to their customers, develop for their new proposals, new services, in a nutshell means to host.

Unfortunately, often a tourist facilities is declared accessible if there is at least one bathroom for disabled people in hospital style characterized by handles and "special" health. The logo with the little man in a wheelchair then, generic and arbitrary  symbol of accessibility, is a self certification that does not say anything about the real availability of tourist facilities. But this is not the correct way to give the sense of hospitality in our village.

To escape from these mechanisms, halfway between the cultural and technical, we offer our customers an innovation based on needs; a family with small children in strollers has very similar needs to a person who uses a wheelchair to move around. For example, the existence of walkways to the beach is an ideal solution for mothers who need to use the stroller, always full of everything you need to ensure the welfare of the child, but it is a convenient solution for a person in a wheelchair too. If more than the catwalks to go from the beach to the waterline also develop side to get to serve the more distant rows of umbrellas, we can give a good service to many people, by choosing the location that you prefer more. Need to implement transparent accessibility, offering solutions that meet the needs of everyone, without burdening the image with applications "hospital type".

The accessibility is only achieved with proper planning and constant attention to all the elements that compose it, such as remembering to build ramps, not steps, keeping the trails in good working order and so on. It must become a normal way of working and indispensable tool is the PEBA.
This increases the value of the structure and of the holiday for your clients. Accessibility is not just taking care of the "special tourist": but is transparent welcome, enterprise development, market share and a higher quality of the holiday for all of your customers.
